Historically men have been pushed to deal with their emotions themselves and not seek outside help and support. With suicide being the biggest killer of men under 45, there needs to be an extended effort to encourage men to be open about their mental health and emotions.
Feelings of low mood or depression, despite being common, can leave people feeling isolated and helpless. Below are some resources that can help with low mood or you could speak with one of our advisors.
If you are feeling like you want to end your life, or are making plans to do this, please see our safeguarding pages or reach out by calling 999 or 111. It is always better to contact someone than to suffer alone.

The work follows the successful introduction of Menopause sessions and cafes during recent years.
