When someone is being abused it can often be difficult to recognise. Many people who are being abused can struggle to reach out for help because they are feeling scared. Suspected abuse should always be taken seriously. There are a number of organisations who can help and some of them are outlined below. If you believe that you, or someone you know, is being abused or is at serious risk then you can contact the police directly to let them know.
