All Wales Critical Care Transfers

The EMRTS & ACCTS provide the majority of level 2 and 3 adult inter hospital transfers, and referrals can be made via the Critical Care Hub on 0300 1232301 Further information on services can be found here. 

National Standards

The service has adhered to and supported development of the latest revision of the Guidelines for the Transfer of the Critically Ill Adult, “Re-designed for life” which can be found here. 

As part of these standards, our service now hosts the all Wales critical care transfer audit, and requires submission of copies of transfer forms for inclusion in the audit. More details can be found in the guidelines.
